Parvo Symptoms

pup exposed to parvo now showing symptoms, HELP?
she is up to date on shots, 3 of 4 complete.. de-wormed…2 doses… already had kennel cough, 10 days of antibiotics, caught early and was ok… now she has been exposed to parvo a few days ago, and i think she is now showing symptoms, vomiting yesterday, a bit of loose stool, jelly like diareah.. not wanting to drink her usual amount of water.. her energy level isnt what it usually is.. she is a very active black lab.. i know she does not feel good, she was in the same room with the garbage can last night {{her favorite thing right now}}} and she didnt even try to knock it over….
I am a vet tech. Please get her to a vet hospital today. Do not wait. If she is almost compleatly vaccinated, she has a good chance of recovering. There is no cure for parvo. It is a virus that has to run its course. What your pup needs is supportive care. That means IV fluids, to prevent dehydration, and meds to help with the vomiting and loose stool. She should be monitored closely by a Dr. so if she starts to run into real trouble there is someone there to help her. This virus is very serious and needs medical attention. There is nothing you can do for her at home. There is a very rapid decline in health with this virus, she will get much worse within hours. So please do not wait to get her attention. I wish you and your pup the best of luck.
