What is wrong with my dog? He is starting to pee in the house !!?
I have an 8 month old Great Dane that has recently started peeing in the house! He was perfectly potty trained–and would always let us know when he needs to go outside. In the past week or so, he has started urinating in the house and seems to need to pee a lot more–feels like once every 30minutes to 1 hr. I’m not sure what could be causing this dramatic change. I have not changed his routine, diet, exercise. I am starting to monitor his water intake, but have not noticed much change. Could a urinary tract infection cause this? What other symptoms might he have if it is indeed UTI? What else could be causing this?
It could be a UTI…But if it was a UTI, he’d be trying frequently and nothing would come out…
Let me ask you this –
Is he fixed? If not, he’s probably starting the habit of marking his territory. If he’s not, please get him fixed – It will also stop him from marking his territory.
