Where are the best sites to tell me information about dogs?
I plan on adopting a Malamute, Husky, or GSD from a rescue soon. I’ve contacted many breeders and most of them tell me about the same thing …
Also, many websites I’ve looked (including dogbreedinfo.com) have told me many of the same things.
I don’t want the basics, I’d like to learn EVERY bit about these dogs breeds so I know what I’m getting into and prepare myself. I’m talking anatomy, common health problems, grooming tips, training tips, behavior, what to watch out for, etc — for the SPECIFIC BREED.

Breed parent clubs would be a good start. If anything specific isn’t on the club pages themselves, contact the club secretary and ask for relevant literature they recommend. Most clubs also offer the option of membership, whereby you can access specific information not available generally and have the opportunity to attend club meets and get in touch with other owners.
